ARTS & CRAFTS AND CERAMICS
Personal expression is important to us! Our well-rounded arts program offers campers a fun and rewarding experience. Specialty instructors offer guidance and encouragement as campers explore the use of various media to create and complete their selected projects. In addition to a full ceramics facility, Wicosuta offers instruction in painting, drawing, silk screening, jewelry making, leather craft, Native American arts, tie-dye and more. Digital photography is also available to interested campers. No matter what the activity, the focus is on fun, and the talent discovered is often surprising!
THEATER ARTS
Dramatics play a starring role at Camp Wicosuta; even the littlest camper can take "part" in one of our "Broadway style" productions. There's lots of singing, dancing, and hamming it up and those who don't wish to take center stage, can get involved with costumes, lighting, or set design classes. With backgrounds in educational theater, performance, directing, and stage craft, our instructors' love of the theater is contagious! Our large productions at the end of each session allow all campers the chance to get into the "act" and have a great time!
