Below are some FAQs about Wico Family Camp.  If you have questions not answered below, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 1-800-846-9426 or send an email to info@campwicosuta.com.

What are the time and dates for arrival and departure?

Each Family Camp session runs for 5 days and 4 nights.  The Family Camp arrival window is from 2-4PM.  Please don’t arrive before 2PM, so that we are ready to welcome you Family Camp!  We will ask all families to depart by 11AM on departure day.  We will serve brunch and send you home with snacks for the car ride!

What are the living accommodations like at Family Camp?

All families will have their own private camp cabin to live in. They are equipped with electricity, toilets, sinks, and showers.  Packing List to follow!

Do I need to bring my own sheets and towels?

Please bring your own sheets, blankets, comforters and towels. Camp beds are “cot” sized, but single (twin) sheets fit fine.  If you need to rent camp sheets, we do have a limited supply available for a fee of $25 per person; just let us know in advance

What are meals like at family camp?

The Family Camp menu will feature kid-friendly favorites, along with a variety of more refined dishes for our guests. Along with the meals we will have afternoon and nighttime snacks. As always, we will do our best to accommodate any special dietary needs.  Please call us in advance with any questions.  Adults (21+) who wish to drink alcohol are welcome to bring their own to be consumed.

Who may attend Family Camp?

Family Camp is comprised of a mix of current Wicosuta families, alumnae families, prospective/future Wico families and families who have heard about Family Camp from the Wico Community.

We know that in-season, Wico is a girls’ camp. Is Family Camp coed?

Yes!  We welcome all campers and families to camp regardless of gender.

What is a day like at Family Camp?

Our goal is to help you experience all the amazing activities offered at Family Camp!  Families may travel together or not—it’s up to you! We will offer large group evening activities each night as well as late-night activities for those with older kids.  Get excited for Wico’s famous campfires, PANIC, KKB as well as late-night movies and other fun camp favorites!

Family Camp will run in the rain or shine.  If we get some “liquid sunshine” we will provide a fun-filled rainy-day schedule for everyone involved!  See “A Typical Day at Family Camp” for more information.

Which activities will be offered at Family Camp?

Take advantage of our incredible facilities; including but not limited to our Fitness Center, Pool, Tennis Courts, Sports Fields, Lake and more. Check out our Activities Page to see the offerings available.

I want to be at Family Camp with my friends. Is that an option?

We understand that doing Family Camp with friends is a real draw to the experience.  We recommend that you connect with your friends and select the week that works best for all of you.  We will be happy to accommodate groups of families, as space allows.

How is family camp staffed?

Our Family Camp staff is a combination of Wico’s best seasonal and year-round staff members. These staff members will lead activities, run special events, prepare and serve food and help your family have a great time at Family Camp!

What are your safety protocols?

How does health care work on site?

Families should pack and be ready to administer their own medicines and prescriptions, as well as-needed over the counter medications (Tylenol, Advil, allergy meds, etc.).  Our camp nurse will be available to administer basic First Aid and to respond to emergencies and other unforeseen health issues.

Is there Wifi and Cell Service at Camp?

Wifi is available at designated locations throughout camp for you to use. Cell service is available with most carriers. Family camp has a designated business area for those that need a quiet place to get work done, that has Wifi available.

How much does Family Camp cost? What’s included in the price?

The cost is $3200 for a private family cabin for 5 nights and up to 4 people.  For each person over 4, the cost is $500.  There is no charge for children ages 5 and younger. $750 due upon enrollment; Balance due August 1

How does enrollment work?

Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that you complete an enrollment form and leave a $750 deposit.

Can I bring my pet?

Though we love animals, we cannot accommodate pets at Family Camp.
